Children and Youth

Embracing young hearts and minds in faith.

At Lethbridge Community Church, we deeply value the participation and spiritual growth of our youngest members. We believe in nurturing their faith journey with engaging and age-appropriate activities that resonate with their curious minds and vibrant spirits.

Sunday Morning Worship: Engaging Activity Packages

During our Sunday morning worship gatherings, we ensure that our children are not just attendees but active participants in their faith journey. We offer specially curated activity packages that keep them engaged and connected to the service in a way that’s fun and meaningful. These packages are designed to complement the day's message and themes, allowing children to explore their faith in a creative and age-appropriate manner.

KidzOwn: Weekly Faith and Fun

Age Group: 6-18 years
When: Tuesdays, 5:30 PM - 7:30 PM

KidzOwn is our dynamic mid-week program dedicated to children and teens. It's more than just a Sunday School; it's a community where young people aged 6-18 come together to grow in faith and fellowship. Here’s what a typical Tuesday at KidzOwn looks like:

  • Shared Meals: Every session begins with sharing a meal, symbolizing our community's warmth and unity. It’s a time for laughter, conversation, and strengthening bonds.

  • Contextual Bible Lessons: Post-meal, we dive into Bible lessons that are not only relevant but also tailored to resonate with today’s young minds. We explore the scriptures in a way that's both insightful and applicable to their daily lives.

  • Learning Meets Fun: Our approach to teaching is a blend of learning and enjoyment. We incorporate various interactive activities, games, and creative projects that make learning about faith an adventure.
